Yes I am copying the soccer thread.

But tonight is opening night for Hockey,

Feel free to post about your team good or bad,the Phoenix situation, who is going to win the Stanley Cup,How long Sean Avery will last,Whether the Leafs will make the playoffs, Will the Pens repeat?

There has to be be some Hockey fans in this forum.

I 'll start a couple of posts

I am in 4 hockey Pools this year, down from most years.
Last night was our draft pool, loads of beer and loads of bull shit

We had 20 members and you pick 10 players each, With anticipation you pull a number out of a hat to see your 1st pick. Great I got 17th and picked D.Sedin we then go to 20th and come back down I got Zetterrberg on the way down.

So although if you pick #1 it also mean your picking # 40

After 2 rounds we repick draw #s

Good side is the side Bets, last playoff pool i finished 4th(I bubbled again) just out of the money but I won 5/6 $20.00 side bets for a $80.00 profit

Go leafs go! Gonna be much better this year (or less horrible😱). And yes, playoff bound...Don Cherry said so!!

I live in Southern Ontario ( in the so called leaf nation) and have been force fed Toronto Maple Leafs hockey for years with the same old promise of wait till next year.

The leafs last won the Stanley Cup in 1967, which is older than a lot of peeps in here.

I have secretly cheered for Ottawa ,Boston,Pittsburg,Edmonton but never the Hated Montreal Canadians.

Anyway have fun and here's a place for Hockey fans

I love the game of hockey i grow up playing and the frist nhl game i watched was at winnipeg, manitoba MTS Centre preseason game Phoenix Coyotes vs Calgary Flames and Calgary Flames won 3 to 2 was the score but it was a fun game so im a Calgary Flames fan and my favorite player is Alexander Ovechkin

Go Flames Go

TML

Hey just thought id tell you im a toronto fan. Win or LOSE, i dont hop on and off the bandwagon lol. But i do cheer for other canadian teams when the leafs dont make the playoffs. GO LEAFS GO!!!!🙂

Toronto losing 0-2 to Washington already, Ovechin scores hilite goal already

I haven't followed hockey in years, but my faorite teams have always been the Kings, the Avalanche, and the Ducks. I don't know why though, lol!

I'll stick with my boys to repeat this year.

GO PENS!!!

TPB221.. In your sig you forgot to add The Pittsburgh Panthers Football program ... good program but horrible coached. .. Back to current post, I am and always a Toronto Maple Leafs Fan. Born in Toronto but now in San Antonio, Texas and stuck with AHL.. I am really glad for the N.H.L. Network.

I just hope someone beats the piss out of Scott Walker, I can't stand him.
Go Bruins!

Let's go hawks!!!! Hopefuly we make it just one series further this year. Btw, I don't want to see Detroit or Pittsburgh anywhere near the finals this year...

I love Hockey...even tried it once😱 ...big mistake! Now I only watch! I'm not really for anyone in particular now...depends on who's playing!😀 Really love to watch it, particularly in person!🙂 I have to say that I'm a bit partial to Canadian teams though, esp. Toronto Maple Leafs!😀

Good luck on Detroit not making the playoffs. You have a better chance of the Detroit Lions winning the superbowl. lol
