Russia is out of all sporting events for 4 years !?😱
Is it a political or sports decision? I must admit, at the very least, it is a very strange judgment.
What do you think?

Its's the government that is punished, not the athletes.
Athletes can still play at the olympics.
The government runs a doping program, what other centence would you expect?

Athletes participate in the Olympics under the flag of their country! Nobody competes just under their own name lol
In what way is only the government punished here?😎
Under which flag can football players play at the next World Cup? Is the government punished in this case as well?

That's why the Russians have always good results at the Olympics Games. They use drugs to get good performances.

Really? I am not a fan of Russia but by logical insight I come to the conclusion that America has much more success ?! What it means?😎

That's exactly one of my questions lol
Who is punished with that? Government, competitors or the people of Russia (fans)?
After all, that law is not the same for everyone, right?😕

Politics decision ofcourse i'm not understand this decision but it's worst for Sport

If it is not the same for everyone then how you'd expect it to work lol ...

For fans it probably doesnt matter yes unless they do some stupid things etc and therefore are prohibited from certain events ... Also for fans even if they aren't allowed to wear russian shirts etc then i doubt they'd stop doing that ...

If you follow the situation then you know it's not the same law for everyone .. Americans (USA) don't go through doping controls because the State Department guarantees for them lol

I don't know if this is a political decision to hurt Russia , but I really don't like that Russia is being banned from events or that her athletes are being treated like this . I hope this changes and everything goes back to normal . Russian athletes are great athletes 🙂

In my opinion more politics than sports. But Russian athletes used doping is a fact. The only ones who suffered were pure Russian athletes.

It is a very drastic decision. From what I understood they have about 20 days available to appeal.

Russia has good results because we have the strongest athletes in the world.

If someone could judge by the russian poker players, he could tell that dope is not needed. Pure talent only.

I don't think the appeal will help.😎

I believe that it is necessary to remove the 145 athletes who have been convicted of doping, and the rest do not need punishment.

Exactly, the law does not apply to everyone in the same way. Politics 🙁

I think it was a political act, even though the Russian Federation deserves an exemplary punishment if the anti-doping cheat has been proven
😕😕😱

I think that the punishment to Russia for doping is politics. The punishment for doping should apply to athletes, and not to the country (this applies not only to Russia).

The "clean" athletes will be able to participate in competitions under the Olympic flag. 😉😱

It seems everyone is missing the primary question here. It's not whether the ban is political. The question is whether the cover-up and collusion of Russian Athletics associations, including RADA was political or sports motivated. The response is to their actions and a punishment of them, not a direct punishment of the athletes who can still compete.
