Is anyone else following the rugby league world championships, I've been watching most games and am finding it great, I really liked the way Papua New Guinea kept playing after New Zealand were thumping them then they almost kept pace with NZ in the 2nd half.

I'm Australian and am biased when I say the Australian team gave Ireland a lesson in Rugby last night.

Australia Vs USA kick off in a couple of hours.

The question now is by how much is Australia going to win.

Half time Australia 38 - USA 0 could have been a lot higher if our goal kicker had got all of his attempts at conversions.

I'm looking forward to an Aust - NZ final.

Miraculous try in the 31st min, ball was over side line when winger No3 passes the ball while in the air and over the side line to player No2 for NZ who scored a try, try got converted.

Score England 8 NZ 6

79 mins and 40 seconds New Zealand score a try to tie the game, conversion goal kicked after the siren and it was good.

Final Score England 18 - New Zealand 20

Fantastic game, New Zealand through to the final, they will play the winner of the Australia Vs Fiji game

It's 2am my local time, I'm off to bed and will be watching the replay of the Aust Vs Fiji game.

Australia defeated New Zealand to win the World Cup for the 10th time.

Australia 34 - New Zealand 2.

great win for Australia, if only we drew Fiji in the semi final we could have had an England v Australia final maybe!

It almost was, New Zealand beat you guys at the last min, I thought it was over and England were through with 30 sec to go.

yeah unfortunately we always lose our nerve in the final stages of important sports events! good day all round for you guys yesterday beating Wales in the Union too.
