This would infuriate the right people, would love to see it. Sadly this won't happen prior to the rapture.

Card games are not sports.

Board games are not sports.

Videogames are not sports

This question is recycled from time to time here on the forum. Poker is not considered a sport, so your question answers itself. It's a resounding NO.

Definitely not. It would be another discipline that has little to do with physical fitness. As for me, there are already too many irrational sports where the referees decide and not the result, adding gambling poker is too much.

it would be interesting, but I don't know how it could be done and what the qualification criteria would be

Absolutely, but I would have problems with doping, so I it´s pretty difficult. 🤔

I really enjoy poker but it has no business being at the Olympics.

thats true! but for sure will be in few years since poker was considered a mental sport!

excellent question, but I think I could not be in the Olympics, since the physical part is not put into practice

Any human activity can be organized as a sport. The world is becoming more diverse. All it takes is funding, or a dedicated fan base.
Olympic games lose their base each year, because don't want to provide new games.

No from me, also. They would need to do it for a shit ton of volume to be fair.
