Hmmm, I guess it was live when I watched it. I'm confused now lol. It didn't get taped on DVR & I had to catch it later so I'm not sure what I watched lol. According to you, it must've been live though

You are absolutely right man! But that is when Russia is the host.. Shame for the sport at all. Though my favourite was Juilia Lipnitskaya , the Korean girl deserved the GOLD.

Wow! What a finish there in the Women's Hockey Gold Medal game!

Dramatic comeback in final few mins. of 3rd period with Canada down 2 > 0
Canada scores then pulls their goalie.
Then USA hits the post on empty net.

55secs. left.. Canada scores!

And Canada wins it in overtime!

That was awesome!!!!!!!!

No set of skills will beat home advantage as long as home skater doesn't make any mistakes and puts on great performance regardless of non-home athlete performing better. This applies to every sport that is judged based on artistry since it's judges perception. It's just cruel reality. And it applies even more in an event run by Putin.

What's the matter? Can't take my statement? Is there anything wrong with my statement? Host country will utilize home advantage whenever possible, especially in countries like Russia. There's already lots of articles where they're having controversies regarding Adelina Sotnikova winning the gold medal in ladies figure skating.

I should be asking you that question since you seem to be on cardschat all day and all night rather than going outside and hanging out with friends(outside of cardschat). Cardschat friends don't count btw. :p

3 hours and we will be watching great hockey! USA- Canada. It is like NHL All Star game, but teams will try to win it ( the only difference between NHL and the Olympics).

Woot...the men's curling team kicked some ass:)

Hopefully the men's hockey team can do the same. It's going to be a good one....never underestimate the strength of Canada's defense!
