Well, I must say it was a great weekend for me. The Colts looked unstoppable, the Giants posted a shutout, and the Saints nabbed an easy 20 pt victory. 3-0...wheeeee. I'm not trying to gloat, but geez, that felt good. I shoulda parlayed the 3 together as well, lol.

I hate to break it to you but you got screwed if you gave action on Tenn vs Jax this week 😉😉 Tenn played NYJ and Houston lost to the Jags!

lol yeah. I meant Texans. Maybe that's why I lose $$ betting the NFL? 🙂

I have no idea what language this is. I live in England so we like betting on the 'Soccer'. What the hell is a spread?

As a Seattle resident and fan it pains me to say (but moniez is moniez)...the lock this week is Chicago -2.5...Seneca at QB....Leroy Hill AND Lofa Tatupu AND Marcus Trufant AND Josh Wilson out on defense....This is gonna be gross!
You made the right call. 😛 My husband and his friend are die hard Seahawks fans (made the trip from California to Seattle for their opening game this year, went to Detroit to see them in the Superbowl). We were all watching the game on Sunday, and I think we all said, "WTF?" several times. I can't tell you how many times they were screaming at the TV "THROW THE BALLL!!!!" Seneca is definitely NOT a clutch QB. Good news is that Hassellbeck should be back next week though, right?

Wow! Nice to see another Seahawk fan on CC! I'm sorry you traveled to Detroit (worst Superbowl city ever) to see them get screwed repeatedly.

As far as Seneca goes, he looks great for a few plays and then just spazzes out......I haven't heard about Hassebeck yet for this Sunday but he can't come back soon enough! Although with Dwight Freeney coming up this week, maybe Wallace is a better option since he can at least elude the rush (I can't believe I just said maybe Wallace is a better option!)

WOW...I'm a Bengals fan..Bengals beat steelers and I had the bengals winning..WOW

Well, the boys went to those games. When I picked them up from the airport after the SB...well...let's just say it was a long ride home...lol. I would love to go to Qwest Field one of these days though. What a great bunch of fans (except when they're playing the Niners of course...my team...Seahawks are my second fave...😀).

Oops I misread that...sorry 😱

Ugghh the 49'ers! Your poor husband had to watch Frank Gore waltz all over the 'Hawks again this year.....Dinner conversation was probably pretty light that night!

i'd like to thank the cowboys offense for only playing the second half

and killing my over part of my parlay

maybe jerry needs a lil more money on the team and not the stadium

Good news for the Seahawks, Freeney is out for 2-3 weeks....I didn't realize that earlier.

Progress Report: 4-1 on the year (2-1 week 1 and 2-0 last week).

This week looks tough and I'm not really comfortable with any of my picks (read: not betting the farm!). However, here they are:

Buffalo (pick 'em) - The bookmakers don't know what to make of this game....the line has moved back and forth but essentially a pick 'em. I don't care that it's in Miami, I don't think Chad Henne gets it done. Buffalo is moving the ball on offense and Miami can't stop anybody on defense.

Last week I made a couple picks that I said may make me look like an idiot so here's another one of those:

Baltimore (-2) - This line has been moving in Baltimore's favor (opened at NE -3 and is up to NE -1 at some places), which usually makes me pick the team that the line is moving away from. However, Baltimore is freaking good. This is one of those games where I'm gonna say "duh" no matter which way it turns out. I would not be shocked to see Brady and Moss scorch the Bills (which would really help my fantasy team).😉

Velutha- I hate to critique others picks but the Bills appear to be a little banged up on the other side of the ball. Observe:

http://www.buffalobills.com/news/ar...r-Sunday/1056d2f6-90ad-497d-b54f-22b9c9a6ce76

You're right...I'm not taking that game anymore. I was actually logging on here to say just that...The Bills are decimated so I'll pass on them this week.

I'm flipping and going for an upset special! I'll take Cleveland +6. This is another one that could go terribly wrong...call it a gut feeling.

Week 4 bets:
Cleveland +6
Baltimore (-2)

Ship it! 😉

here are the odds that i play:

if a team wins by 3 points or less than it's considerd a tie.

bet x bet x bet x $ wagered = how much money u win.

V = Visitor
T = Tie
H = Home

BAL @ NE
V 2.30 T 2.95 H 2.10

CIN @ CLE
V 1.70 T 3.00 H 3.05

DET @ CHI
V 7.10 T 5.00 H 1.10

NYG @ KC
V 1.30 T 3.50 H 5.15

OAK @ HOU
V 5.70 T 3.65 H 1.25

SEA @ INP
V 4.50 T 3.20 H 1.40

TB @ WAS
V 3.05 T 3.00 H 1.70

TNS @ JAC
V 2.10 T 2.95 H 2.30

BUF @ MIA
V 2.15 T 2,95 H 2.25

NYJ @ NO
V 3.20 T 3.00 H 1.65

DAL @ DVR
V 1.90 T 3.00 H 2.55

STL @ SF
V 5.70 T 3.65 H 1.25

SD @ PIT
V 3.45 T 3.00 H 1.60

Not to sure of the picks at the moment but will bet at least $5

I'm thinking Dallas this week is a solid pick, or the Giants.

Might tease it and see how I come out

Okay im thinkin of betting San Diego and Colts winning by more than 3 points.

SD 3.45 x Colts 1.40 = 4.83 x $$ Bet $10 = $48.30

A Little worried of the Steelers pulling off a win or losing by 3 points which makes it a tie and i lose. Was checking out the New England and Baltimore game. Not to sure if Brady can dominate the Ravens D.

The teams in red are the ones and spreads I've chosen for this week. I'm very new to doing this so probably will screw this up a bit initially. It's been helpful reading everyone's picks and the reasons they've picked the way they did.

I'm betting individual games Jake (none this past week) so I get paid on each winner because each game is a separate bet.
