bruh! i just had the craziest thing ever betting on these bums. i have known this for a while but this is out of control, how is it even allowed??
for the past 5 years i occasionally find my self betting on these table tennis guys. 9 out 10 times its something crazy , underdog coming back from 0-9 to 11-9 or something crazy like 1 set and 2 set won by the guy who is in favor. and the underdog comes back to win all 3 in a row. ( not like any underdog like little edge) im talking 5 to 1 Underdog.
match fixing is one thing. but actually rigging the game while playing is stupid. i sometime watch the feed and its always some random ass venue with blacked windows and weird vibe

gotta say never heard of betting on table tennis let alone even knowing or heard of a single player, where in the world is this going on,find it hard to believe a bunch of players are colluding to fix matches when only a handful of people even know that their playing let alone betting on them , really?

as far as i know , they do have a market and people bet on them, if what you say is true , why would betting sites allow them on their website ? risking gambling license

Table tennis is increasingly targeted by international match-fixing syndicates and illicit betting rings, particularly those exploiting lower-tier or obscure tournaments. High-profile scandals include the March 2025 suspension of four members of Table Tennis England for manipulating matches, and the 2026 suspension of the Malta Table Tennis Association amid severe safeguarding claims.

The judges don't seem to be particularly tense and didn't even bat an eyelid when a player served three times in a row. I don't know if this is just a betting platform for players to throw money into a stable pot, but it looks shady. This isn't just happening to a small number of players, but to many. If you consider tennis a similar sport, you'd never see such a change in such a short period of time. It looks much worse than in the NBA.

This kind of stuff in low‑tier table tennis doesn’t surprise anyone anymore. These obscure leagues played in random venues are notorious for impossible swings and matches that look more like unprofessional play or outright manipulation. I’m not saying every match is fixed, but the lack of transparency makes everything look suspicious. That’s why most bettors treat these games as low‑stakes entertainment, because it’s hard to take them seriously otherwise. And to think I used to play table tennis at a competitive level… I only quit when I had to choose between university and sports, and I went with my studies. It’s a beautiful sport, but extremely demanding — daily training at the club, strength and speed drills, coordination work, even rope‑jumping tests (45 jumps in 15 seconds was the qualification standard). It’s not just casual ping‑pong, it’s real athletic work. That’s why it’s sad to see what happens in some of these obscure betting leagues: sketchy matches, strange venues, impossible score swings. The sport deserves far more respect than what we see in certain gambling‑driven competitions.

stick to betting on top level championships where the world class table tennis pros are playing seriously for titles and ranking .
