As much as I don't like players like Otamendi, Paredes and De Paul, I'm happy to see Messi finally lifting the trophy.
He's one of the GOATs with Maradona and Pele, and the World Cup was the only title he didn't have.

I'm glad for Messi. It was the only title with which he has not been decorated yet and now he has finally won it. What a player.
Argentina's well-deserved victory, I would say, they were way better than France in the final. Congratulations.

Friends, I congratulate all fans of beautiful football, with a great finale! It was the best final match I've ever watched since 1986. It was a real football drama from start to prize-giving! This is just a great gift for the Christmas holidays. I'm just in a great mood, I wish everyone happiness, health, love and see many more such wonderful matches!
I got 9/1 on Argentina at the start, £25 returned £225 plus stake back, happy days.
It was a great final, not sure if it was the best world cup final ever, but it is certainly up there. France, missing some key players throughout the tourney, i'm sure they would have won the final if these players were available, just goes to show their strength and depth. But it was really written in the stars for Argentina & Messi to lift the cup. Don't think anyone can begrudge Messi his moment.

Mbappe was restrained during the award ceremony. Yes, he was upset, but I got the feeling that he was already mentally preparing for the next championship. It is impossible to beat Argentina on penalties with such a strong goalkeeper.🥷
