In individual sports my photo is of Michael Phelps, man was a monster.
In team sports, Tom Brady, the guy is dominant in a very competitive league.

NOTE: Maradona does not tie a Pelé boot.

She was an excellent athlete and the best gymnast in history who inspired many gymnasts of that time and who is still a living legend.

I think it depends on the sport you choose, in my case I like soccer so I consider Ronaldo Nazario from Brazil to be the best athlete

I find it almost impossible to define an athlete as the best, because we have several sports, I think I could open a topic with the best athlete by sport.

Im brazilian, and I have a moral duty to say Pele. But Michael Phelps is the best athlete in history by far.

It is tough to judge because each sport is different. So, I am going to say Bo Jackson as an all-around athlete. I would also choose Wayne Gretzky who owns almost all the records in the NHL and I would say Michael Jordan who is the greatest basketball athlete ever.

Michael Jordan in Basketball and Klitschko in Boxing were amazing in there sports.
