The hockey tournament at the 2022 Olympics is less interesting due to the lack of top players. I'm betting on Finns or Canadians. Peace and kindness to all! 🙂

Now that USA and Canada are knocked out it is anyone's guess. Was hoping to see USA and Canada ply for the gold but not this time.

Them wining would be great indeed cause this way we can hear our anthem 😎
Also (for the sake of this finnish phrase) it'd be nice if they beat Russia lol ...

And that the anthem of Finland is similar to the anthem of Estonia. Will need to listen.🙂
Although the odds for winning the Finns are good.

I think the lack of players from the NHL is the problem of the players themselves. The Olympiad is held every four years and not everyone gets the opportunity to participate. The teams are formed from those who are ready. But even among some national teams there are young, promising players who are hungry for victories and are more motivated than the stars.:ridinghor

It's always good to start sunday morning with postive news (after seeing who actually won this tournament^) 😎
 
Finland won naturally. But at the next Olympic Games, I think Sweden or the Czech Republic will win hockey.
 
\o/ We had a strong and skilled team but the victory was still a surprise... of course we hoped for it a lot!🙂

Finland won the Olympic gold medal for the first time in its hockey history. Russia got a silver award. And Slovakia won the bronze medal also for the first time at the Olympics.
17 year old Juraj Slafkovský (Slovakia) was recognized as the most valuable hockey player of the Olympic Games.

As a result of the tournament, I can say that Finland deservedly won. I'm surprised that Russia was able to reach the final. I was very pleased with the Slovakian team.
 
Indeed, the Slovaks surprised everyone very much.
Although it seems to me that their failure after the collapse of Czechoslovakia should have surprised more.
Czechoslovakia was one of the leaders in world hockey.
 
The Slovak bronze was a great performance and a pleasant surprise.
These are needed like the 2018 German Silver Medal.
