From now on, candidates’ performances are taken into account not for the calendar year, but for the season – from August to July. Now only representatives of countries from the current top 100 FIFA rankings take part in the voting.Trophies won by clubs and national teams will be taken into account only in second place, and the class of the player and his compliance with the fair play principle in third place. My favorite is Mohamed Salah.

Don't care about the Ballon dor it is probally the most corrupt award out there.

2003: Henry should have won not Nedved

2021: Lewandowski should have won not Messi

2023: Halland shouldhave won not Messi

Also 2024 i dont think Rodri should have won

I think its Manuel Neuer.. he deserve it!

It wont be Haaland - not unless City improve and he starts getting fed chances more regularly, its no coincidence either that City have struggled without Rodri and De Bruyne even though KDB is back but needs games.
Raphinha is a half decent shout if he keeps his form and fitness as is Lewandowski but i still think that if Vini Jr plays well and gets goals, he will be there in the mix irrespective of last seasons result which i feel was right going to Rodri when looking at all his achievements and form throughout the season.

nice choices above , but i think there is a good chance it will be some other unnamed player !

If Salah wins the UCL or ,at least, EPL, the Egyptian forward will deserve the award.

It is still too early to talk about the 2025 Ballon d'Or, but since there are no national competitions this year, I think that the Ballon d'Or will come from the Champions League champion team. For me, the best candidates are:
- Mohamed salah
- Raphina
- Lamine yamal
- Kylian mbappe

I think this year is the time to give Lamine Yamal the award she deserves.
Last year they didn't want to give it to him because they gave him another prize. That's unfair, give him all the awards he deserves.

Salah is in pole position for this but has to win something to have any chance, history has told us already that success on the pitch is more than just talent/skill/goals and assists, if Mo and Liverpool win PL title (at least and league cup) - he has a good shout, if he wins CL as well - hes almost untouchable for the award if he continues his current form.
