You see Italy as a possible winner of this year's World Cup.
You will probably be disappointed to find out that they didn't even manage to qualify for the World Cup.
In additional qualifications for the World Cup they lost to North Macedonia.
 
I'm Brazilian and I believe that our team has chances.

But something tells me that the champion will be Argentina, crowning Messi's career. I hope I'm wrong 😆.
 
good in my opinion I think it's from Brazil
but there are two very strong selections with argentina and france that can arrive and take the trophy
 
Why is there so much faith in Argentina, which of the players there should drag team? On last World Cup, Argentina had nice result, but not for champion.
Or is it just a lot of Argentines on the forum?

Qatar is not heaven for human rights but western media shows like it is jungle law in Qatar.

If it is not in white country then most of times , media keep harping that host country has so many problems (like crime in Brazil, poverty in south africa ) instead of focusing on games.

That is why Olympics, worldcup hosting keep rotating between 10-20 countries.

Many teams play good soccer and take their matches,but at the end the winner is germany.
 
After the first game played, I was delighted with the game of Brazil and I thought that Brazil could win the Cup this year.

But after the match with Switzerland, which does not belong to the very top of European football and which showed that it can compete with Brazil, I am convinced that some European team will win the Cup again. Maybe I am wrong.

If and after it happens that my Croatia is eliminated from the Cup, I think that for some reason I will cheer for Brazil. I like watching the fast football that Brazil knows how to play.

Italy... this would be a real surprise, since they didn't qualified for this WC

Because almost everyone hopes that Messi will win a World Cup. He is named as the GOAT but on the international level he managed to win a Copa America.

The perfect final would be Argentina vs Portugal.
Direct fight between Messi and Ronaldo.
 
I'm rooting for Argentina because my country has never participated.
I did not believe in the group stage that they would be able to leave the tournament so easily. But they picked up and moved on.
 
for me the favorite to win the world cup is brazil, it is a complete team in all lines and I think it is a serious candidate to win the cup, soccer can give us surprises but today it is brazil.
 
there are a lot of comrades from Brazil, but I think England is a real contender, they haven't had such a squad for 50 years, since the last championship in 1966, and maybe now the team is better, the only weak link in England is Gareth Southgate in my opinion
 
In the early stages of the Cup, I wrote that I like the Brazilian football team, but that I think that some European team will win the Cup again.

Now, after my Croatia knocked Brazil out of the Cup, I'm even more sure of that.

In my opinion, the favorites to win the Cup are France or Portugal if they keep Ronaldo on the bench.

But I hope that Croatia will win the Cup and make up for the defeat in the final at the last World Cup in Russia 2018.
