The returning champion is Zhao Xintong. I see so far he is 4 - 4 with his countryman Ding Junhui - Ding has won numerous events and I think the curse may be coming for Zhao.

We'll see later on Saturday.

If Zhao maintains that form - he will take some stopping..helluva clash ongoing between ronnie and JH - still too close to call yet..i would not be surprised to see Zhao do it again...

I think John Higgins may do it again you know. Watching him fight back against an in form Ronnie. Come from behind against Neil Robertson and now staying in it against Murphy without playing particularly well is the sign of a champion.

I'm not one for superstitions, but whenever Higgins has played O'Sullivan at the World Championship, the winner has won the tournament.

Higgins is absolute granite.

Myself and a bunch of mates went down to Sheffield at the weekend, we saw a session of the Allen v Wilson match, then a couple of the Robertson Wakelin match on the other table.

Its such a great weekend, the big screen showing other matches, beers outside in the sun.....anyone who can get there, its a top city, but even better when the snooker is on

THe fianl is looking so good. Murphy gets 5 in a row to leave Wu Yize reeling, then Yize has comeback with 2 frames....final frame of the session is now vital!!
