And they are winning all these games without Votto! Pitching is also very impressive, imo it's the reason why the reds are 20 games over 500!

Maybe a bit off topic but I wonder why do you got a dream team in basketball on the olympics and why has there never been a dream team of baseball on the olypics in the past?

An Olympic sport has to be played by enough countries to make it in -

There is the World Baseball Classic as well - if the players are allowed by their teams to play of course 😉

This is strange

To be on the Olympic program is an issue where you need universality as much as possible. You need to have a sport with a following, you need to have the best players and you need to be in strict compliance with WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency)

They won't send the best soccer players as well.
