Roger Federer is my number one sympathy , his achievements are incredible , his style and technique are unique no matter how old he is . I was really angry when he was dethroned by Novak from number 1 , many years ago , but later I saw that Djokovic is also a good tennis player and a good person , now Novak is my second favourite 🙂
I watch the players from Ukraine. Surprise the results of Elina Svitolina, she has a lot of typed from Justine Henin and plays almost the same as she. It does not work for big helmets on the 1/4 finals, but it has the potential to win several tournaments from this series. Perhaps on the Australian Open will be the first, because it is now in excellent shape and the grid is successful. In the final, you get an exit to Halep.
Very surprised by the performance of 15-year-old Martha Kostyuk, but now in 1/16 she is waiting for a meeting with Svitolina and there is almost no chance to go any further. Surprisingly playing Bondarenko, she beat the Russian Pavlyuchenkov and clearly goes beyond his capabilities. Recalled that Tsurenko also plays well, her recent victory over Ashley Barty was amazing. Now she has a game with Radwanska, which is now very unstable and has a chance to go further. Ukrainians are very pleased to always follow their game.
Dolgopolov also started this year very well and demonstrates excellent tennis. Now he has a very difficult opponent - Ebden from Australia. If Sasha passes there is a chance to go to 1/8, and there will be Nadal ...
But for men I vote for Federer, because he is the best in the whole history.
And the women for Serena Williams do not know anyone better than her in the history of women's tennis.

As a fellow Korean, I am rooting for Chung! I am really surprised by his success this year.
But my favorite player of all time has to be Federer. I used to like Pete Sampras back in the day, but watching Federer, Sampras would never have had a chance. Federer makes the game look so easy and is doing the impossible all the time. And I don't recall someone being this gracefully good in his final days, he is still competing for grand slams! That is amazing.
