Preflop
You have less than 7BB left, and with such a short stack I would not have any range for limping behind or making a small raise. Maybe A2o actually fold to a jam after limping, and you would have picked up a decent sized pot without showdown. Or you could just make a slightly tight fold, which I think is ok, when there is action ahead of you.

Flop
Your hand does need some protection against two opponents. But when you jam for more than the full size of the pot, you typically get worse hands to fold and only better hands to call. Normally the way to fix this would be to bet much smaller like 30-40% pot, but you are not really deep enough to bet anything without committing yourself. And for that reason I would check and see, what happen. Hopefully the turn is a low card, and then you are one step closer to showdown.

Why did you not expect it to be played like that--A2o limp pre-- standard weak player play on a passive table-- check flop and call- nothing unusual about this play--why do you think it was?

We want to know how the average player plays in our player pool so that we know that this happens on passive tables like this one. I saw the flop and immediately thought someone can have an Ace. My strategy would be to play defensively check or B10 based on your stack size.

I didn't expect A2o to be limped because it is hard to play post-flop. It has large reverse implied odds.

If someone is bad enough to limp preflop (except in certain situations like SB limping with an ante), then they dont even know, what reverse implied odds mean. Bad players playing poorly is like the least surpricing thing in poker. And more importantly we should always focus on the part of the game, which we control ourselfes. And as many people have said, you also played this hand very poorly. So focus on fixing your own mistakes and learn how to exploit the mistakes, other players make, rather than being surpriced about them.
