$25 NL HE MTT: Just Variance right?

I experienced bad flips at same tournament, in flips where i was clearly ahead. Variance can be really tough.

Well the first two hands were literal flips... no surprise you lost there,

the third hand you had him dominated, he got lucky, it happens, gl👍

Given the stack sizes I would say yes. In the JJ hand I assume, the chips went in before the river? If not maybe you could have folded top set with 4 cards to a straight and 3 to a flush. At this point you pretty much only beat a bluff.

all hand are preflop, in first 2 hands i have 55% to win in multy way pot

Ok then everything is fine, although in theory our stack off range also depend on the action. Like who opened, who jammed, and who called etc.

Which mean you lose 45% of the time. Losing with 55% equity happens a lot and should not be dwelled upon :)

To be more specific it means we can count on losing 45% of the time. Think about that OP... that's almost HALF THE TIME!
