5-people S&G (2 left), payout €12.67 + €6.33

Me (SB): 34.97 BB, hole cards As Th
BB: 27.54 BB

Pre-flop:
I posted 0.5 BB
BB posted 1 BB
I raised to 2 BB
BB called

Flop (4 BB): Ad Js 4h
BB bet 22.12 BB
???

Villain is a passive player pre-flop but very agressive player post-flop. A while ago he limped nearly every hand pre-flop and only adjusted when I started making pot-sized raises, and he still never 3-bets. However, when the flop is placed, he nearly always bets 1 BB and increases his bet at the river no matter what the board is, even it is dry and does not complete draws, and I have exposed a few bluffs by then, but he also sometimes has higher 2 pairs than mine as well.

Should I call (pot-commit) here?

Preflop
Standard open, maybe you can go a little larger, but whatever.

Flop
The stack to pot ratio is a little over 6, and in a heads-up game thats low enough, that I would be willing to stack off with top pair decent kicker on a clean runout. That is assuming normal action of course, and this massive overbet right out of the gate is pretty absurd. If he actually flopped a set or two pair, why is he so fast to shut you out? I also expect, that AK, AQ, AJ and JJ are 3-bet preflop at a decent frequenzy, so what do you even lose to here? Like A4, 44 and J4s? So yeah I get curious here and stick in the chips. If he want to win this one, he is going to have to show it to me. I expect to see some random nonsense here at least half the time.

Note taking is a very important part of poker. We want to be taking note of any out of line actions that our V take earlier in the sit and go. You state he is aggro post flop but aggro with what hand class? As @fundiver199 stated would they really do this with the nuts? Your notes will let you know.

Note taking requires certain skills because we have to take other situations and apply the indicators from those hands to this one. If you can review hands review them for not taking not just for results as practice of noticing indicators.

Having notes would surely be valuable here. But another point to add is, that its not like, the opponent would not win any chips from us, if he can beat AT, and had taken a more normal line like checking to us or even making a small donk bet. So if he has us beat, its not like, this ridiculous line won him much if anything extra, and he loses value from the weaker part of our range.

If he had checked to us, we would likely C-bet this flop with a lot of gutshots, backdoor draws, second pair and so on and so forth. But now those hands have a very easy fold and dont lose a single chip more. So if I call here and get shown A4, I am kind of "whatever" and mostly just chuck it up to a cooler. And of course we can still suck out on A4 by hitting a T, J or running cards higher than 4 to pair the board.
