You couldn't be 100% sure, that's poker. I think part of the issue here is that minraise you made. AQ is a huge hand HU, but you still needed to raise more since you were facing an unknown opponent. Since you'd never played him before, don't have a read on him yet, and have little info to go on at this point, I think...

^^^^^^^^^this is your answer. Two pairs is huge heads up, especially with an A kicker. But without info, you have to initially give the benefit of the doubt.

Oh he is going down - thanks to all of you for your help!

(If I only played with what I win I would have had to quit a month after starting. Thankfully I have a generous poker budget manager - myself. But now that I have a taste of winning consistently going on at Absolute I have to rethink my stance here.)

i said good job somehwere in this thread lol. yesterday i spent almost 5 hours playing a tourney to try to build up my bankroll at absolute. when i realized it was a bobble head after about 2 hours. well i won the stupid bobble head can i use that to play in a game with you. that is five hours of my life i will never get back and i will get a bobblehead to prove it. i don't know how to take a screenshot or i would have posted it. maybe next time i can win some cash
