Pokerstars need some help

Pre_flop i oppen-raise3bb call . Flop he shov i call . But i win ticket lol 🤣 help me its call or fold with set ?

It looks like, he only started the hand with around 6BB, so of course top set is a call on the flop.

There is no way in hell that I ever fold top set to a flop jam from a micro stack heads up. Given these particular stacks I would probably call him with top pair good kick even. We're not going to get better stack odds with isolation. Go for the throat.

With around half his stack allready in the middle (SPR of 0,5), its mandatory to call with basically any two cards. Two free overcards alone give the 25% equity, which we need to make a break even call. The opponent should be folding or jamming preflop, so this spot should not even happen, and when it does, we should never fold.

I think the important thing here is to mark this guy's account as a total fish who doesn't understand stacks at all. The pot was 11bb minus dead money means that he began the hand with 5ish bb, of which 3 he used to call your open!!! On top of that he did it with a pretty crappy hand. This guy played like a complete bum.

21+ year player on Pokerstars. I'm NEVER folding in this spot. That spot should NEVER even come up. You can label that guy a complete moron for the way he played the whole hand. Now 20 years ago that is how bad and completely stupid players were....players who weren't there will never understand how amazingly easy poker was back then. Majority of the players were that guy.

I honestly can't believe that in 2026 there are poker players still this stupid and terrible.

It was a PowerPath Step 2 game for $1.5, but there are many players, who enter these with free tickets from PokerStars. So essentially this is not much different from a freeroll satellite. And to be honest I cant imagine, that OP is actually wondering, if he should have folded top set. Most likely this is just a bad beat story, because the opponent hit his gutshot and won the hand.

Yeah I never looked at the last pic till after reading your reply. So didn't realize it was a PowerPath deal when I commented. If I had I wouldn't have even bothered commenting.

My advice to OP would be work on his game selection. It's terrible.
