Ideally you should be having 100x buffer in your bankroll of the entry fee of your tournament!
 
0.8762702 %. Risking 0.8762703 % would be reckless. Just kidding. As with everything else in poker "it depends". Best of luck at the tables.
 
It depends on player risk appetite but generally 100x or 150x bankroll for tournament can be considered good balanced approach
 
For me, the biggest mistake is moving up in stakes just because I had a good win. One big score can make you feel like you have a bigger bankroll than you actually do. I prefer to keep playing my normal buy-ins and only move up when my bankroll can handle a bad run, not just one good tournament.
 
I am an old NIT but this always has worked for me
Max 2.5% of my BR for MTT and 5% for STT
