I’ve spent many sleepless nights playing online poker; what often frustrated me was falling asleep during a break and waking up the next day to find I’d been in a tournament where I was doing really well and had a huge stack of chips.

I have many times in the past. Control it better now but so many big games are late Sunday it makes it difficult to try and regulate your playing hours.

Almost 15 years ago. I was staying up all night playing. But I know now, that registering in a tournament means that you may be doing well and to get to the final table usually takes around 4 hours.
So before I register I check the time.

More times than I'd like to admit.
You tell yourself, "I'll just play for an hour," then suddenly you're deep in the tournament, it's sunrise, and you're trying to justify staying awake because "I'm in the money now."

When i was new to online and loner in general this happened frequently. Nowadays basically never as i try to more register for tournaments that start very late.
