Chasing losses

"I noticed something in my tournaments. Many times I play very well in the beginning and reach the final stages. But after losing one big hand, my game changes..."

Yesterday I made the same mistake I have made before. I lost a big hand, then I started trying to get those chips back. I played more hands, opened with hands I would normally fold and became less patient. I ended up getting eliminated early.
It reminded me again that chasing losses never helps in a tournament. Patience and discipline are more important than trying to recover quickly.

You should never chase your losses, because you know you'll end up playing badly just to try to get your money back. Even if you win the hand, you'll know you played it poorly. Just play the way you know how, trust your knowledge, and don't let tilt take over.
