I know for some folks the money they can win is important and supports real life. For me, tickets or cash are all just fine. Saying that, cash is much more convenient in a lot of ways.

It would depend on the buy-in, If they were freerolls I would play in either, but if it meant risking money to buy-into the game then Prize money would be my option. I cannot see any reason to invest in a game where you have to risk money to win Tickets unless the pay-out and buy-in were well above what your bankroll would allow in the following game.
I have entered some Tournaments where the Prize money was paid in PokerStars Money, Which is money you cannot withdraw and only use it for buying into regular SnG Games, but they were Freerolls.

You can only choose one of the tournaments.

Tournaments with prize money will always be a priority for me. Satellites are of course sometimes a very good thing, but real money is the most liquid financial instrument, especially if it is dollars or euros
