Final table deals

Do you make a deal at the final table when its possible or just go for the biggest win.
 
I think the times to make a deal are:
1. When you do not have a skill advantage
2. When you are getting better than icm
3. When you have to go
4. If it is life changing money to you

I would agree with every point TeUnit posted above. With that said I've never offered or taken a final table deal. I mean I've never been in a spot that's been #3 or #4. Never been offered better then ICM. As for #1 I still expect to make a good ICM deal and don't feel I've ever been offered one compared too the difference in skill advantage I thought there was. I did end up winning this MTT.

Depends on the situation. How long it might take to finish the tournament, if I want to end my session, and if I think, I have a skill edge on my opponent. If its a slow structure, and we get to heads-up with 70BB each, I might think, I can do something better than play heads-up against another solid player for an hour or more to potentially win another $50-100. But if its a turbo or hyper I typically just play out.
