Don't play passively , watch out for your stack , if it goes low play more aggressively. At early play more hands , trying to set mines , traps with suited connectors , in position more aggressive your good hands . When blinds rise , start shoving in position to steal blinds . See after every game/session your hand history or the hands replayer , to study your mistakes or the way the other players play their hands .

You need a lot of experience and you are learning from each tournament. The basic rule is to play pretty tight at the beginning if the structure is normal, not turbo/hyper. Protect your stack and wait for the moment to be with better odds.
Try to see cheep flops from late positions with suited connectors.

Play tight in the start but if u get AA KK QQ you must go all in and get double up. When there is like 100 players left you must loose up a litle i suggest you call on suited connectors and A10 AJ... after you get ITM and if u have a good stack wait for good card and when you get good card play aggressively to win chips and also try to steal blinds if there is someone who play tight

I will give you a post flop advice because you already have many preflop which I follow as well[solid in early stages etc]

Don't love you monster hands too much and don't call every street with them ,hands like AK,AQ , if they don't hit the flop rarely they win at show down after a betting board. That may save you some chips.

best way to beat these type of games is first find out your table dynamic and play on how your table acts.. if your table is soft and tight play aggressive and if you table is aggressive play tight but aggressive..

To start for 180 mans learning poker at the same time is so fun. I wish sometimes I could start all over again for I have bad habits.

First and foremost, have fun. Don't let this game get to you. Its supposed to be fun. Losen up a little bit.

Second, to have fun and losen up a bit is to stay within your bankroll. If you lose some, no fret just pull up another one. Always stay in the action. I think everyone here will agree that busting your investment in tour poker is not fun.

Now that your having fun. The next tip to do is of course play. Many say play tight and I do agree with that but I would say play tightest in the early position (after blinds have past and first or second, third to act). Playing tight is to play only premium cards. Like AQ AK AA KK and QQ and maybe and I say maybe JJ but anything below just fold.

In middle position and those nice pocket pairs and your suited pretty cards and the add your master dangerous sneaky cards like 45 suited and you 65 off for button. If you are wanting to explore and want to do some tricks leave it to the cut off and button. You want to make your flops and stuff in position. This is where the fun in poker comes in. Your pros? They love the late position. They avoid the early position as well.

You may start out wanting to be the first to bet and feel you are in control but in poker, its the last person to act in the hand. Remember last has the last action in poker.

I like to start mtts with a passive aggressive style, depending on that sizes of the blinds and player per table. As the tournament gets close to the money I either tighten up if I'm low-ish stack to ensure a place in the money. Or loosen up a little bit, maybe top 15-25% of my range in certain positions to frighten and steal pots from those who are low-stack and looking for a min-cash.
e/After the bubble has burst I continue with the previous styles, depending on my chip stack and look for positions and opportunity's to make some moves. Other tan those few style changes I basically stick to my original style and try to make good decisions.

If you want to get better I'd recommend reading and talking alot about poker. And if you have questions about spefic hands or theory in general just post them on this forum that's what it's for isn't it ^^

If you're pretty new to poker I'd suggest reading a book on it (harrington on hold'em volume 1 and 2 learned me alot).

Anyways gl mate! And if you have more questions anyone on this forum would be happy to help you out :D

My best position in this tournament - 2nd place. Play more tournaments. Work on your game. Analyze your game. And you will have a result.

my best position is 60,give some advice pls

Hey nutthink, how are you?

Well, I'm a regular on 180p, and when I start to play then, i had most difficult, but with time and study I learn how to beat this type of game.

1º Study about ranges to open raise, call and push/shove
2º Learn about strategy of stacks. (What you can do with 10/15/20/30BB)
3º Learn about 3bet and how to react of 3bet.

Studying this 3 topics, you can be able to do a good basic game on the field of $1 180p.
Then you put volume and play tight in the begin of tourney, and as the tourney advance you will going to play more loose, but in early game, play very tight, play only premiun hands, and when in position good hands that you can flop well and on blinds complete when you have odds.

Hope that help you, and sucess on your journey.

When i'm playing i do session of MTT, like 10-12 and play something like 8-10 $1 180p, something like 6-8 $1,50 90P KO, and something like 6-8 $3,50 45p.

I'm adding now the $4,50 180p, but i'm in transition of this game.

I had 23% of ITM and ROI 200% on $1 180p.
