How to cash in a turbo Fifty50 on PokerStars

DON or Fifty50 are SnGs, which pay half the field. In a DON, everyone wins the same amount, while in a Fifty50 (PokerStars version), half the price money is distributed based on chips. Both formats require a special strategy, and in this video I will share the advanced strategy, which I used to cash in a 7$ turbo Fifty50 on PokerStars today.

Fundiver. LOL. I hope you enjoyed watching that game of poker as much as I did.

I agree it is a very advanced theory, however I feel it would be more suited to standard DON games as the idea of Fifty50 is to build your stack size to gain maximum payout. You only got a small amount of the other 50, whereas using the same strategy in a standard DON you would have got 100% of the payout.

It was not exactly my plan to fold every hand. It just so happened, that I was a bit card dead. The only sort of playable hand was 88, which I decided to pass on because of the action in front of me, my position and an awkward stack size. I won 9,43$, which is not a lot for a 7$ tournament, but its still funny, that simply folding 17 hands can sometimes make you money in online poker

Totally agree. An entertaining game of poker that led to a win.

I agree that for playing ordinary fifties this is a normal strategy, but for playing pokerstars where the stack size takes place, this is not very suitable
