Hey guys. I've been trying out some 3-max tables lately and they are honestly so frustrating!! It feels like a quick speed run because the blinds move way too fast.
Since there are only three of us at the table, you always seem to find that one player who is continuously raising or shoving all-in no matter what bad cards they have. It drives me crazy!!

How do you guys maneuver around these types of players and get from these fast tournaments and get into the ITM at least? I'm still an average player and still trying to learn how to deal with this specific setup without losing my head. Thanks!

That is exactly what it is designed to be. Quick loose action. You can't play normal poker in this format. If it frustrates you to not be able to play normal ranges and sizings then the format is not for you. If you have a skill edge, this is not the place to make money because the variance with the wide ranges and aggression is high.

Exploiting a splashy aggro player is the same - tighten up and call when strong, however we don't have to be too tight. Any 2 broadways will usually do. Any pocket pair, sometimes any suited A or any A with 8 kicker or higher. And we will lose often due to variance but over time will win more than we lose.
