As for most players here 4 is the maximum for me too. I can't keep up if there's more than that.

It’s better to play fewer tables with full concentration than to play many and lose money due to inattention.

I can play with 10 tables at a time, I could play on more tables up to 14 maybe, but concentration is a little lost, the best thing is to play on 8 tables.

If a person wants to be a professional player at poker online, playing tournaments, how many tournaments would he/she need to play at minimum to be profitable(assuming the person is making good decisions in general)?

How many hands per month, and how many tables simultaneously to achieve that number?

I ask that here because I believe there are players on this forum that are currently living from poker, so I would like to hear the opinion of someone that actually practices what he's saying and that is implementing these numbers in daily basis, if that is possible of course.

The reason why I ask is because I feel a certain difficulty to play more than 4 screens at once, and I know that that's probably not enough.
Moreover if you have any tips on configurations, macros, setups, etc...

Thank you very much.
Maximum 2 tournaments at a time, 4 cash game tables. Making a living from poker doesn't depend on how many tables you play. It depends on your skill and luck. You can simply play one $100 table or four $25 tables; the profit is relative! I prefer playing ten $10 tournaments to one hundred $1 tournaments.

While seeking professional advice (and I'm not), I've listened to professionals, and the answer is personal to each one of them. Play as many tables as you feel comfortable and don't lose focus. If your device's screen allows it without problems, I recommend trying 3 or 4 tables. No more. With that amount, I can keep my game and focus at their best. I even tend to have other distractions, which I choose to avoid when I need to think my hands carefully. As for profitability, it's the same as I said before: if you play well and concentrate to the maximum, play more than 4 tables. After all, the number of tables reduces the variance (bad luck) in poker. That is, if you are supposed to lose 80% of the time and win 20% (according to a professional), the more tables you play, the closer you will get to that 20%. It will then depend on your game and on taking advantage of opportunities to recover your bankroll and make great profits.

Hope this helps, good luck on your trip.

Max 4 , but I choose play 2 tables max for high volume . Hit and run kind of short sessions with 2 tables is best for me .
