Let then hang themselfes, especially if you are out of position, and call them down with bluff catchers, more than you would against other players.

In a cash game you can always gamble a bit more than usual , as long as you can afford rebuying . When playing a MTT it's wiser to wait for a premium hand in a favorable position and push right back at them .

Stay tight. This will give you decisive range advantage. Call when strong and trap strong flops out of position.

Laggy players are "kamikazes," so let them jump onto the spear.

Weak LAG or good LAG is the issue. The best players in the world are LAG Players. Phil Ivey will attack you with 65 64 63 in the right spots. Kid Poker will call your 3 bet with 87o and make you fold KK by the river after telling you, you have it.

MTT 60BB symmetric stacks from solver.

Solver UTG 17% open no limps BTN R 6.5% call 17.4% 23.9% total
vs LAG range from UTG we can estimate using the LJ range chart 23% open 6% more hands -no limps- BTN R 8.9% C 16.3% BTN total= 25.2% a wider range but more 3 bets compared to solver UTG and fewer calls.
This basic data is available in the free version of GTO WIZARD.

Waiting for premiums in an MTT does not work for 50% of players (estimate from variance charts). When Villains have weak ranges, we attack them and out play them post flop-LAG's are seldom calling stations. Weak TAG's are calling stations. Weak Loose Passives are also calling stations. Passive refers to post flop actions -any player type can open or 3 bet some of the time preflop.

Last point If you think your players are LAG make sure you check the GTO charts to be sure. Compare your Villains hands to the solver charts.

The free version of GTO WIZARD will help you learn to attack weak ranges. Not Perfect but a great place to start.
