I've been playing quite a few low-stakes PKOs online recently and I'm finding the mental side of them harder than regular MTTs. A lot of the big pots seem to come from bounty situations where people are willing to call much wider than they would in a normal tournament.
I've had several spots recently where I was happy with the way I got the chips in, only to lose on the turn or river. For example, I've had top pair against weaker pairs and draws in multiway all-ins, and then the draw comes in. I know the decision can still be profitable even if I lose, but when it happens repeatedly it can make you start questioning whether you should be taking those spots at all.
For those who play a lot of PKOs, how do you separate a bad result from an actual mistake in your decision-making?
