There are tournaments with 1 starcoin buyin you can play, look in the tournaments section and you can filter it with starcoins only.

The thing about the 1 starcoin tournament buyin is they have a lot of hyper theme tourneys therefore harder to win something because its based on luck.
 
And so few coins , you're not playing ??? I have a 572 that I rarely play )))) I play deal every 12 hours )

I have the same problem, i have 12 starcoins and nothing to spend it on. If you want to do the bronze tournament you can see the last one took over 10 hours. There is the storm sats for 5 starcoins but they are rebuy tournaments.
 
Might be old news to some but it's new to me, just found out you can save up coins for cash. 1000 coins = $10 I believe, but I might be wrong.
 
play the deal if got lucky will win the jackpot!!!! or else build them enough to buy a pokerstars gift
 
In your case, I recommend bronze star tournament - buy-in 7 star coins
 
I spend all my coins yesterday on deal >(.
but rather i spend last 7 coins for bronze tourney,but can wait all week these tourney.
 
Invented to those who have no money to give us something yourself entertained.
 
Im thinking in 2 directions one is to collect so much of them and use to get entry on some mid-higher stake bounty tournaments (6 ppl sngs) or use it for deal..In deal it's hard to hit but I already got 30 and 5 bucks
 
Star coins is an incentive for players who play real money, star coins can serve you for important tournaments only you should try to invest them well
