Rebuy period strategy.

What is your strategy for rebuy period in poker tournaments?
How much percent that strategy added in your game?
Is it possible being profitable doing what you do?

You'll need to make the final table to get your money back. In terms of pure profit, I'd say it's not worth it. In terms of gaining final table experience and learning how to make it, I think it's a reasonable price.

If you are talking about standard live or online tournaments, where you can reenter (not rebuy), if you lose all your chips, then this has no strategic importance at all. Reentering a tournament is just the same as late registering for the same tournament. The only situation, where this matters, is, if it seems like, the tournament will have a significant overlay. In that situations chips won are worth more than chips lost, since you can reenter and essentially get a discount, which should make you more willing to take risks. Its basically the same effect, as when you can win another players bounty.

During the rebuy period, I’m usually willing to take a few more risks to build a stack. Playing too tight can leave you short when the rebuys end. As for profitability, I think it can definitely be profitable if you’re taking +EV spots and not rebuying recklessly.

Rebuy us all about skill edge. If you have a meaningful edge you should rebuy. So long as you are playing well.. If you are new to rebuy MTT it may be wise to not rebuy below 30bbs.

I don't re-enter tournaments; there are a lot of poker sites out there now with lots of tournaments available. I don't think it makes sense to play the same tournament over and over again.
