The $25 Golden Bounty is honestly one of the hardest tournaments to play when you actually want to win it, not just survive. Every hand feels like a battle because there’s always someone re-raising or putting pressure on you nonstop. Even when you finally pick up a strong hand, it’s still difficult because you can’t just gamble every spot if your goal is to make Day 2 with a good stack. Managing the pressure, the bounty hunters, and the aggressive players at the same time makes this tournament mentally exhausting. One mistake and your whole run can disappear instantly.

How do you guys adjust against nonstop aggression in bounty tournaments like this?

This tournament is a bit strange, because it feels like everyone is playing only for the bounties. I’d recommend paying close attention to your opponents and playing tighter than usual, since if we know certain players are only going after our bounty, we can just shove all-in immediately with strong hands and they’ll call with almost nothing. That would be my recommendation.
