AK vs KQ which do you prefer?

AK is more favored than KQ because it has the over card ace,but i prefer the KQ because it has more outs than the AK because AK to me just like A4 or under can only have 4 outs for the open end which makes it no better than a gut shot.

You peobably wanted to ask something else or juat didn't explained well enough but AK over KQ any time. Even one vs the other is 70-30 for AK. Also with AK you dominate all the other Ax, with KQ you just block things, hard to dominate anything.

A-K, of course. A lot of reasoning for it goes through my head. But it's all so obvious, that I feel silly thinking that it would even be necessary to explain it. Lets just say A-K for obvious reasons.

Why would anyone ever prefer the more dominated hand? As a player you always want the hand that dominates vs the one that Is dominated. Yet myself I love AKs vs AKo and I like KQs (In multiway pots) vs AKo (In Multiway pots) but 1vs1, AKo/AKs all day long

AK. And KQ is better than a gutshot. If the board contains J-10 you have 8 outs.

I am curious on why there are all these types of questions. To me with no context there cant really be an answer expect that you should prefer the hand with more raw equity.
