Your probs right but the board is quite dry and because 9k has stated villian knows he has a lot of flush draws+ air in his hands, we lose all our bluff equity on the river. So we can only get value from if we hit a J 9 or flush and even then villian has a ton of air in his range too that's hes' going to fold a lot of rivers imo unless it's a complete blank which when it is; Jack high is no good at show down and bluffing the river is never good either so I jsut don't think we get paid enough to justify calling the turn. Of course; if 9k had x/c flop rather than x/r then with the pot being smaller by the turn might, then I woulden't mind x/c the turn but as played..I just think I fold turn..but that's me and I'm still learning.

yeh ram sorry i meant if we check call flop which i think is better than check raising, we should also just check call turn, thought you meant check fold turn after check call flop, my bad!

Yeah I wouldn't say calling it off there is standard by any means. Villain has no pure bluffs and few semi bluffs here imo (maybe like a AcQx or something but without knowing his overall 3betting frequency I won't include too many semi bluffs here). This can easily be an AK/AA that's afraid of what the board is turning into.
