kind of need more information about villian before making the best play. i want to know more about he is handling blind battles. is he playing fit or fold poker? does he call flop light and give up on turn bets? The answer to these questions will help out alot. also, in general i think you are betting the flop to large. On the flop you only need to bet like 1/2 pot and that way you do not have to commit all-in on the turn.

Did you look at the whole hand history? We only have a 6-hand sample on the villain.

Edit: Oh and his bet sizing is totally fine. It is a paired board, so we don't have to go huge, but 2/3 pot isn't huge.

Just thought I bring up the relative difficulty of limits at micros again. If you can give each limit a difficulty level out of 10 what would they be? I think from what I've played recently:

2nl - 2/10
5nl - 5/10
10nl - 6/10

i.e they is a bigger jump in standard from 2nl, and 5nl/10nl play pretty much the same. Would you guys agree? I'd like to know what you think about the move up to 25/50nl also, because I haven't really played there - and wont be any time soon based on my current roll.

I agree that there is a jump from 2nl to 5nl in terms of difficulty, and a smaller jump from 5 to 10. In my experience there is another big jump between 10 and 25, the 25 regs are a lot better than the 10 regs. It can be good for bum hunting though as there are still quite a few fish playing 25.

I'm running horribly this month so far, 6bi below EV. Not tilting at all though as I have 53bi for 5nl. I think being a bankroll nit is going to be crucial for preventing me from tilting in the future, progress will be slow but it's a lot slower if I play using a 20bi BRM and tilt off a load of buyins

Yeah I know, it's easier there right. If I was playing on .com I'd be struggling with 5NL, no doubt about it.

Also, I feel like it breaks down more like this, at least in my experience from grinding up:

2nl-->5nl---->10nl--------->25nl----------->50nl----->100nl------------------->200nl

Feels like biggest jump is 100 to 200, but i haven't played higher then 200 really so i'll probably look back and lol @ this one day, as I do now when I use to think 10nl was unbeatable

Makes sense that each one would be more tricky, so I'll go along with that :)

Thanks for your replies, interesting stuff. Hopefully i will look back and see 10nl wasn't unbeatable some day. At the moment gonna keep going at 2nl until I have a healthy roll to move up.

Pretty sure you will.

I still remember when I moved up to 10NL and couldn't believe the amount of money being thrown around at the tables :)

I got the sickest WR ever at 2NL yo. 4-Tabling is godlike for actually playing some poker. I'd post graph but then I end up getting my ass cursed and start crying myself to sleep all over again.

Does anyone else feel like they start playing worse after looking at your stats and stuff. Like you start thinking differently or too much instead of playing.

7bb/100 over the last 10k hands at 10nl and a little 25nl. Makes putting time aside for poker much easier.

I can't post a graph! I'd get ****ed over by the poker gods!

Only 4 tabling so the sample is tiny, WR keeps going up though. I wouldn't be surprised to sustain it slight lower than it is now.
