TBH it's a lot of fun, so I'll probs take my free €5 as far as I can. Currently I'm sitting at around €88. It also gives me a huge insight into how differently the games run. The amount of preflop limping is unbelievable.

5-->88 is good going! How's the traffic on there?

I must say I have a lot of fun at 5nl, even when playing 12 tables, not much pressure and owning people in hands is fun ha.

Traffic's not that great, but there are about 15 tables of 4NL 6max running atm, so not too bad either. I've just been playing my normal 6 tables at a time, and what with the software being way slower than stars, I suppose I ought to make that at least 8.

One other thing I have noticed, we can profitably open way more hands at the nanos.

I am in exactly the same situation lol except I do have an old PC laptop and I was thinking of loading all my hands onto that. But I considered/am considering selling too. Is yours the PT3 or the Hem version Pocketehs?
So you two steal our chances to win one free copy, and now selling it.? ha FU both :)

On other things, this should be totally sustainable right?

Usually a good sustainable winrate is around 7 BB/100 but at these stakes you can easily crush them for more.

Haha, but yeah that was a small sample, after 2.1k hands it's calmed down to a more reasonable 29/27.

However, I am having problems with 4NL, as I knew I would lol (fml) so... seriously wtf!!!

Graph for the lols

fcking4nl.png

I am going to stick with this until I sort out how to beat 4NL for the first time in my ****ing life!!! Jeez

OK, some thoughts on how it differs from 50NL 6max. Double barrels are massively profitable at 4NL/5NL. The amount of calls you'll get with weak hands on the flop that intend to see if you're honest on the turn is astonishing. So, double, and yes at these stakes scare cards really are scare cards (regs at 50 lol when you bet the scare card and snap call). For example, flop is T53 and you cbet and they call, any over card that comes just bet.

Other thoughts, they'll fold better and call with worse like all the time, specifically talking about made weak hands vs draws here. So if you get to the river and tonnes of draws have missed but you've got **** all, fire half pot.. trust me! :D

The limp/calling is crazy, and the folding to cbets is super high too for these players, I just don't get it. Difficult to put players on a range a lot of the time so I just go with the assumption that at some point during the hand I'll have to look at my cards when they start playing back - cos they aren't ever playing back with complete air.

However, I do need to focus on playing a range more oriented to value than position/spots apparently. Just some thoughts for now, what do you others think?

This is all well and good, but arent you struggling to beat 4nl, so based on that i am not going to follow your advice... sorry

Agree on the two barrels, and for sure want to bet more if don´t want to end with multiway pots.

oh, and stop stealing my fold button god dammit, i just can´t find it.

Haha Logan, no one likes folding, but if you're going to, I guess we could do it there. However, you are up against an overpair and a FD a non insignificant amount of the time. Meh, yeah just fold.

Lawl that flop is a snap-fold. I'd have to think about it if JUST the 54/0 over-bet shoved, but with the call? Snappity-snap fold.

Been trying out flatting 3bets with premiums to extract maximum value, thanks for the tip Cafeman :)

CO is pretty nitty and UTG is a likely fish so I flatted the flop too hoping to keep the fish in.

CO had KK and UTG had JJ, not sure why its not showing the mucked hands

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.05 BB (6 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from http://www.flopturnriver.com

CO ($4.25)
Button ($5)
Hero (SB) ($5.56)
BB ($4.08)
UTG ($6)
MP ($11.30)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A
club.gif
, A
heart.gif

UTG bets $0.10, 1 fold, CO raises to $0.48, 1 fold, Hero calls $0.46, 1 fold, UTG calls $0.38

Flop: ($1.49) 6
club.gif
, 7
diamond.gif
, 2
spade.gif
(3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, CO bets $1.06, Hero calls $1.06, UTG calls $1.06

Turn: ($4.67) 10
diamond.gif
(3 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks, CO bets $2.71 (All-In), Hero raises to $4.02 (All-In), UTG calls $4.02

River: ($15.42) Q

(3 players, 2 all-in)

Total pot: $15.42 | Rake: $0.64

Results below:
Hero had A

(one pair, Aces).
UTG didn't show
CO didn't show
Outcome: Hero won $14.78

Hehe, that's what I thought until I chatted with him in the Skype group. Turns out he's doing the same thing as me, playing 4NL on a dodgy site! :D

The only difference being, he doesn't seem to be enjoying it as much as me.

Utg is always gonna call pre-flop if you just cold call the 3 bet so why not 4 bet it if the CO is very nitty, or I would etleast raise the flop, your asking to be sucked out on here tbh.
