I'm not really a fan of this float honestly. A gutshot and some backdoor draws isn't enough for me here without some sort of serious read. If I know the guy is giving up most of the time if his c bet doesn't get through then maybe I'd float. I like 3bet folding the flop if I think the villain is 3betting and cbetting wide otherwise I'd just fold.

so i am desperately seeking for some help here with a few things.

and i also need tips.

1. what do i tell myself when i try my best to play poker following good practices only to find myself handing over my entire stack to some donk who hits a boat or something on the river. knowing none of it is my fault and that i played it absolutely right. it's right after these hands that one starts tilting.
honestly even the most experienced players would find it difficult to walk away from trying something stupid after these stupid beats. but i like to think i have the patience needed to not make stupid moves in such scenarios. i am just looking for some guidance and tips to walk away from it.

2. what do i tell myself to fold hands like this(see below) preflop vs an aggressive donk who 3bets with hand ranges like anything at all. i played on that table well without tilting even once and making so many good folds. after 100 or so hands i made like $10 there and was pretty happy. and then i just gave away my entire stack to this donk. i am extremely disappointed...

i decided to play KQ seeing that he really didn't have a hand range. look at his VP he was playing and betting almost anything. and then i had a decent flop followed by a decent turn card too. finally at river i was committed to pot and had to call because he could be bluffing as well. i wasn't gonna fold that hand against a guy with such stats.

how to play donks?

How to play donks?
Only 2 Steps to it.
Step 1 Value Bet
Step 2 Dont pay them off

Step 1
In the hand you posted when they bet $7 on turn, just shove when you min raised there was no way he was going to fold
Step 2
Dont pay him off I know you have invested alot but maybe you could have folded as alot of aces in his range. Think your Bet sizing on turn messed up the hand for you.

PS I struggle with Step 2 as well

I sometimes fail at reading hand histories.. But I never consider a flopped flush because it happens so rarely it's best to assume they didn't get there imo. Unless they're a nit of course.

I might need to be scolded for this one. But as I rand down the hand I kept asking myself does he do this with just trips and I convinced myself he doesn't. Maybe because I wouldn't play trips like this here or for fear of being owned by the overshove. I promise I'm not a nit!

how to play donks?

I can understand it's tempting to play a hand like this against someone who is likely really bad. Still, he's not raising pretty much at all in that small sample and he squeezes an UTG raise. Usually you're crushed w/ KQ in that spot. But considering he may be really really bad, it's not horrible.

Regardless, I'd still just bet the flop. You got the flop you wanted pretty much. Go ahead and bet. Now with stack sizes on the turn, you put yourself in a spot to have to call pretty much anything. But I'd consider folding against someone who is likely very passive and his range is pretty clear. I mean there's really nothing you beat at that point.

So with tilt, it's something you have to find a hard line cut off for yourself to quit. It's going to be constant work, and I'd maybe consider something like tilt breaker as an intern manager until you can develop more discipline.

This is the one are of poker that no one can teach you. It's going to be up to you to find that mental fortitude to understand when be a good quitter. You can't let ego drive you into making bad decisions, because they will just continue to compound long term.

When you talk about the Aggression needs to be higher are you referring to AGG or PF AGG%, what should they ideally be as in leakbuster they have a wide range 2.3 to 3.6 and 31.8 to 41.6

Last time I ran said I had about 50 leaks, this time says I have 4 leaks, 1 critical and 3 important but only the critical and 2 of the importants are showing.

always difficult when you have flops like that and you have Aces, only good side there isnt a flush draw. usually best way is try to get to showdown or try for thin value.

If you overshove with no flush draws you probably only get action from AK or a hand that has you crushed unless they are a maniac and looking at his stats you may get called by KJ KQ QJ.

I had similar hand with Aces earlier and wasnt sure what to do, although once the Ten hit turn I hoped he had King and maybe King Jack although once he min raised the turn that was probably my opportunity to get out or would that be too weak ???????? or maybe I could have checked back the turn for a cheaper showdown
