Whatever the reasons someone chooses to post on a poker forum, learning how to play better isn't always the motivation. Heh.

When I play cash games, I usually prefer to play $50NL, feeling that the stakes are high enough to discourage bingo players. I haven't played at these stakes in quite a while, ever since having my bankroll severely depleted by "variance" (maniacs playing extremely bad and getting incredibly lucky). Even though I have rebuilt my bankroll playing MTTs, I have for the most part shied away from cash games, only playing them on sites where I have miniscule account balances. Even still, I refuse to play stakes any lower than $10NL. I know it's horrible bankroll management, but I managed to run a $15 balance up to $50 playing $10NL. In fact everything is backwards on that particular site. Where I would normally set aside a portion of my tourney winnings to play cash games, on this site I use my cash game winnings to fund my tournaments. Anytime my balance drops below $50, I play $10NL for a couple of hours to get it back up. This tends to suggest that maybe I should be playing it more. But as I have said in the past, and as odd as it may sound, I just don't play as much poker as I should. I tend to spend much more time thinking about poker than I actually do playing it.

That's a term I never thought I'd read around here. What is it about people trying to hand over money that you dislike, anyway.

I'm the opposite, I much rather prefer playing poker rather than study/think about it.

I play 5nl at pokerstars with 6 tables.. working my way up to 9

Also play 200nl at the casino... I have $140 bankroll online and $3300 live money, my aim is $8000 so I can play 2-4 by the end of the year... but dealing with some demons of my own so it's going to take some maturing.

took out $200 online to play live and never looked back.

The minimum online and minimum live lol. Without depositing, I need to build a bankroll thru some freerolls. Thanks to this site for helping me out!
