Have have folded KK many times. I remember raising with KKowboys pre flop, flop, turn, river. And seeing 4 of the same suit on the board then I get re raised on my raise on river. I had to let them go,did not have the suit in my hand. :(

I think kings are almost always folded post flop. And never pre. And depending on your opponents perceived range and the board run out. You might be forced to fold your KK.

I was first to act in a 1/2 live game, and got KK UTG. To my left was a very loose player whom I wanted to trap, so I limped in with my Kings. However, the loose player folded preflop, and then the next player raised to 6xBB. The action folded to me and I anounced a reraise to 18xBB. Before I could finish counting the chips to complete my reraise, the initial raiser said ALL IN. I had to tank for more than 2 minutes. I then folded my Kings face up. The other guy was nice enough to show AA, and commended me for a tough laydown.

In hindsight, it was a decent reraise and fold to a four-bet, because flat-calling the initial raiser and a Jack-high flop could've cost me USD200+. It would've been a big bet from me, a reraise, and all chips going to the middle.

Losing only to AA at this point so Call.
Decent odds and premium payout, go for it 9 out of 10, and that one out of 10 is probably gas, not really a bad feeling, lol.

I have a hard time doing so! I think I did once on a 4 suited board but I find it hard to lay them down.

Depending on my read of my table, with that said, I usually pot it pre flop and then calculate after the flop.
If an Ace flops I play it conservative.
If it is on a draw, I play it aggressive/conservative
If it is all lower than KK and spread about, I just go for the aggressive.

a classic fold for a pair of kings is when you receive a bet on top that you have to project a pair of ace, or as the board is well connected for flush draw or straigh draw or full house.

easy shove. you have the second best preflop hand and there are only 2 other players on the pot. ak, aq,jj,qq even pocket tens are the hands most likely villain have, otherwise why would he make a 2520 4bet when the 3 bet was only 480. that seems an excessive 4 bet to do with the best preflop hand so i think you are ahead and should have gone all in.

KK is rare hand !

Ok, folks..
Do you remember one of "High Stakes Poker" episode - where J.Gold (with KK) was against S.Farha (with AA) ?
Do you remember - how long they talks (with screams & etc) before the dealer begin to show the cards then ?
Think, that one hand (mean - KK) so rare. So, to fold it (especially in cash game !) - is the Great one sin.
Yes, you can lost stack in some case, but.. you must to gamble there !
Because that`s the Game !

I remember watching an EPT in the final stages and they were all in the money, but on one single hand Play UTG was dealt 44, he raised 2.5 BB and was 3 bet re-raised by player on the low-jack with Pocket Jacks.
Next player on the Hijack 4 bet with Pocket Kings and the player on the button Pushed all-in 5 bet with a short stack holding Pocket Aces, SB folded and Adrian Mateos on the BB called with Pocket Queens. the pocket 44s and Pocket Jacks folded and got out of the way, back to the Hi-jack with Pocket Kings and he re-shove all-in with his hand. Now it was on Adrian to decide whether to call or fold his Queens, after about 3 mins he felt he was already pot committed and reluctantly decided to call and put his tourney life on the line.
He knew before the cards were turned over he was beaten, but what else could he do? So that was it all down to this hand AA,vs KK, and QQ, the 3 biggest stacks on the table fighting it out, The flop Came 7,9,Queen and put Adrian in the lead but with Turn and River to come he was still in danger of being busted out.
The Turn and River bricked and he sighed a breath of relief.
5 players all being dealt different Pocket Pairs and one winner. What are the Odds of that happening? Poker can be a sick game at times, and a very cruel game, but that is what makes the game fun and interesting to observer's.

When the fun Stops, STOP!
