If I win the jackpot, I will definitely continue playing. That's because I will have the financial means to do so. I will play and enjoy life :)
For once, you hit a life changing money, and you want to gamble it away?

If I won the jackpot, I would take a trip to the world's largest casinos. That doesn't mean I would try to spend everything I won, but the idea of traveling and gambling at the same time really appeals to me.

Become a professional gambler maybe?

I understand the "finish with the gambling" part, but no idea what you mean with "buy something expensive".

I'm a bit haunted by gambler's fallacy, so would be paranoid about mean reversion. and would presume a run of death afterwards. I'd lock it away nice and safe and become a happy hermit.

Lol. The safer way to deal with the situation, I guess.

Of course it does, but any strike could be deadly.
You won a life changing amount of money, why not secure your future and travel the world for example? Or just live the way you want, without having to work or gamble anymore?

I would put a lot of money aside to buy things for me , keep a good amount of money for my new extended bankroll , and start playing maybe and carefully higher stakes and higher bets . But carefully . Cause it's easy to lose all winnings and that is sad , especially if you lose it right[ away , the same day .

I say yes to putting money aside and to increasing your BR if you mean a poker BR.
But keeping at slots, especially at higher stakes, even carefully, is a very dangerous business.

If I won the jackpot I would of course never play again. I would retire and spend my money wisely on
wine, women and song......

Wine, women, music. Nice combination!
Though not very compatible with "spend my money wisely" in my opinion.

If I ever hit a life-changing jackpot, the first thing I'd do is pause. Secure the money, stay quiet, clear debts, invest smartly, and set up long-term financial stability for my family.

Would I quit forever? Probably not completely. But I'd never play the same way again. No chasing, no pressure-just occasional low-stakes spins for entertainment, knowing I've already won the real game.

The jackpot wouldn't be an excuse to gamble more; it would be freedom. From that point on, slots would be fun again-not a necessity.

Wise decisions indeed.
I've been really surprised by certain replies where I've read that people would continue to gamble, it's kind of shocking to me! If the purpose was to score a big win, what's the next thing anyone could expect from a slot machine? Another Jackpot? I doubt it.
And keep sitting in front of the same machine(s) when you finally can afford to see and do so many things in the World!!!!!!!!!

If that happened it would be the reward of the previous efforts in that game! After that I would continue to play with the same measure!

If I hit a huge jackpot, our blackjack table has an over $300,000 jackpot, and I would definitely
plan to live off it for a long time, of course, I would still play, but not anything big, just for the thrill we all play for
and maybe a trip to Vegas for some poker tourneys

And why not use that money to retire and maybe travel the World? I'm not against playing some nice MTTs here and there, but slots?

Don't be too negative man! When someone gets lucky, it doesn't mean he's always lucky. It could happen to anyone anytime.
Same thing with getting robbed, but it doesn't mean that it happens all the time.

That's more like what I would do. But if it's a huge one, I'd invest most of it and travel the World. Not excluding playing some of those big MTTs.

Yeah, living "La vie en rose" ;):ROFLMAO:.
It'll be well deserved after making the right choice. Not like some people who said they would keep gambling! Which I cannot understand at all.

What about some imagination? Everyone wishes to score a big win, but the topic assumes that you did. So take it from there.
