In the freeroll I played last night (which I won, smirk), two players went heads up pre-flop - one had aces, the other had kings. The player with kings flopped a set. Another player who had aces raised pre-flop; I believe there was one caller. He had 9-7, flopped a 9, and boing! Totally unreal.

Statistically, it's simple, AA is the best pre-flop hand in poker

This happens from time to time. It's part of poker, nothing to worry about. It's a shame, yes, but it will happen.

Any two cards that you hold in your hand may be beaten if after you see the flop, turn and river. Just saying nothing is invincible the farther along you go.

Weirdly to many times I had KK, someone elses had AA, but there's no way I'm folding with those two hands, all in from the get go. Some times I try baiting others, but most of the time the river ends up favoring them, so now I just go all in preflop.

AA and KK are two of the strangest hands when risking it all I lose very often but you have to risk

Losing in a tournament with AA against KK is very disappointing. In cash games I take it calmly.

I'm just curious to know how many times you've had aces and the other person had Kings or visa versa where you had kings and they had aces and what was the outcome.. I've had this happen a lot lately it is a setup hand most definitely.
I mean the odds are the odds. if you got more money in with higher chance of winning you are the winner anything past that isn't super important.

It has happened several times,I always try to get other players allin preflop when I have AA or KK,sometimes I face AA with KK but most of the times it is a worse hand than KK.

The frequency of AA versus KK occurring in a Texas Hold'em game depends on the specific situation. Each player is dealt a random hand, and the chance of being dealt AA is 0.45% (1 in 221 hands). Similarly, the chance of being dealt KK is also 0.45%. For AA to specifically be against KK at a table, the probability decreases significantly and depends on the number of players. At a full 9-player table, the probability of AA versus KK occurring is roughly 0.081% or about 1 in 1,236 hands dealt.

AA is more interesting... I feel deeply disappointed when you have KK in your arms, you received a call on 5BB and an ace on the flop)

I've seein it numerous times, it occurs once every approx 9000 hands as said above..
By the math, AA wins more often, but surprises happen

AA is the dream of players, especially beginners, I myself am one, however, the best card is the winning card, as there are those who lose with AA or KK.

Recently, for me, KK has been bringing more profits than AA.

I've been an old poker player already. I've played all in with AA against KK.
Everything can come when K comes to KK then AA ends.
AA vs AA?
I played in a live single table tournament one time.
First hand - I had AA. Player two seats ahead of me went all-in.
I called. We both had AA.
Chopped the pot - We split the blinds.

You play long enough, you will win and lose with both hands...the key is whether you get stubborn and lose with KK after a raise, and an ace on the flop.
