I like AA over KK because of the obvious reason that it is a better starting hand. I've lost many of hands with KK, I don't know why but it happens.

This happens and there is nothing you can do about it. All you can do is accept it and move on.

In a previous tourney I got AA in the very first hand and when another player pushed with KK, I had to call.
Nothing happened post-flop so I doubled up and became the chip leader.😄
A few hands later I got AA again and the same scenario occurred.
Only this time villain ended up with quad kings - he ended up as the chip leader and I was back in the pack.😤
I would have ended up in the same position if I had folded AA both times, so what is the moral of the story?

Is there a sport more tense than this setup? You turn over KK preflop, everything's going well... until villain 4-bets you and shoves you and you see the aces come out in the showdown.

"that's poker"

And something to celebrate when we get such a great opportunity to get 100bb's in pre with AA vs. another player. These spots certainly don't come along very often and when they do it is something to celebrate for sure!

It's the classic flip, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but it's impossible not to play that flip.

pretty sure that is what is referred to as an 80/20 and NOT a flip. (a flip is when we're close to 50/50... withe it being much the same as flipping a coin. Hence the name 'flip'

I'm just curious to know how many times you've had aces and the other person had Kings or visa versa where you had kings and they had aces and what was the outcome.. I've had this happen a lot lately it is a setup hand most definitely.
For my 50% win AA or KK

I’ve had AA cracked by KK twice in a row before, so I don’t really like AA.

Classic cooler — nothing much you can do when KK runs into AA. Just part of the game, as painful as it is!
