In general, it depends on my mood. Sometimes music improves concentration, and concentration directly affects the result. And sometimes, I prefer silence.

I particularly hear Chill out & lounge while playing. I can go deeper into the game.

When playing at low stakes and in freerolls, I listen to music very often (especially from the band Yello). In more serious games, where more money is involved, I do not listen to music. It distracts me from concentration.

I use to restrain everything what can distract me while i'm playing poker so i don't listenig music while i play however sometimes i'm singing in my soul while playing.

Sometimes yes , when it doesn't distract me , or to feel better after a bad decision or bad beat , to relief me from tilt . Or if I am sleepy , but I am deep on a tourney . It all depends on the mood .

Just sometimes, usually I am watching youtube while playing. It keeps me away from sudden stupid moves. Doing something during the game keep me out from the tilt after bad beats.

Sometimes I listen to music but it’s more mood dependent. In general, I prefer to focus on the game and just pay attention. But there are sure to be some music that will help you focus. It can be a different type of music for everyone either.

You should never, ever, ever :-

Drink alcohol
Listen to music
Eat
Multitask

In other words, any non-playing activity, while playing, is a distraction, and a road to poker disaster.

These WILL get you in trouble.

If I have anything playing it will most certainly be Chopin....I particularly like the series of Nocturnes he composed....very soothing and restful and that helps to mitigate tilt.

I'm a fan of playing some trance type music to keep me dialed in.

Anything that can get me in hypnotic state of focus I find to be helpful.

Binaural Beats are also a great option (if you search them on youtube you'll find lots of focus enhancing tracks on there)

i like to listen to a playlist while i am playing online poker. but live not really. I listen to country mostly and now and again some metal
