Do you play for the money or for fun ?

I play MTTs and I would say, I play for competition. It is a mixed thing for me. Money is an expression for success.

ultimately i'm playing for money, but atm i don't care about the money because I'm mainly playing for fun. If I could get poker to pay for a drink or two each week that'll be great, but it's also just fun trying to bluff, and read others hands

I started playing online for the money. Then realized i needed to work on my game. Now i play for fun in the hopes to play for money again someday.
I started out by losing my initial bankroll. But now i tend to break even or win/lose a small amount. Maybe 5$ in losses or wins.

Gotta love the early freeroll tournament players.... AQs Jam to a 2.3bb raise (guy has played everyhand and showed A6o as his best hand). Guy calls and random BB calls all in.. im like ok here we go... flop QJ2 .. 7... 4... ok should be good here, guy turns over KQo.. nice.. and the just the guy left who called a jam ... He has a monster, should have known better... He turns over J2o...

Both, but because the amount of money I make with poker is so small, it is mainly because of fun. But I try to make as much money as possible.
