I haven't tried that yet. Believe me, I'm always in the mood. I learned how to play 5 months ago. It must probably be a terrible idea to play unwillingly when it's worth money.

I don't play when I don't feel like it, the tendency is to always lose when I play like this

Actually playing without desire nothing works out, I can't concentrate, to place the bets, in the end just to lose,

That's a very disciplined approach. The 'lazy call' is exactly what kills my win rate when I'm tired. It’s better to protect the bankroll and wait for a day when the brain is actually sharp!

Not always but yes. But it's a recipe for disaster. I always end up losing.

I really relate to this. We've all been there — sitting down at the table when our head is somewhere else completely and paying the price for it.
But I'll be honest with you — my approach is actually the opposite of what most people suggest.
I play poker precisely when I need to lift my mood or disconnect from whatever is going on in my life. For me it's not an escape in a negative sense — it's more like a reset button. When I sit down at the table, something shifts. The focus the game demands forces everything else out of my head. Work problems, stress, bad days — they all disappear because poker simply doesn't allow you to think about anything else.
In that sense poker is my ritual. The game itself gets me in the zone, not the other way around.
That said, I think the key distinction is knowing the difference between playing to enjoy and reset — versus playing to chase losses or escape from something painful. The first one works. The second one is where the lazy folds and bad bluffs start happening.
Maybe the real trick isn't a pre-session ritual at all. Maybe it's just being honest with yourself about why you're sitting down that particular day.
If the answer feels good — play. If it doesn't — close the laptop.

I’d love to hear from others: do you have tricks or rituals to “get in the zone” quickly before a session?
One cannot get in the zone quickly. The zone needs to be approached slowly, freely needs to come by itself, when you not expect it and not think of it. Never force the zone. The zone is holy, like a shy rabbit, quickly running away when sensing attention, but then suddenly resting cozy in your arms and cuddling you, your hands, your smartphone and your triple Aces.

Appetite comes from eating. Even if I don't feel like it, it comes during the game.

Yes, is not the best but we need to keep playing, I only stop it when I'm to tilt.
Only play when you’ve had a good long sleep, your mood is happy without any negative thoughts running in the head and lastly no disturbance around!
Otherwise your bankroll will disappear in no time!

No, and I recommend you stop. Playing without motivation or enthusiasm is practically throwing your money away.

Sometimes when I’m not in the mood to play poker, I still sit down if I have a ticket that’s about to expire. In those moments, I might even go all-in with a pretty average hand like 87s, and funny enough, I often end up winning those spots. There are times I can double up once or twice, which creates a weird situation - I didn’t want to play, but suddenly I have a comfortable stack. Then I feel tempted to try and reach the ITM, even though my mindset isn’t great. Of course, poker usually wins and I keep playing, but I might also put on a YouTube video and just play more casually. It’s not ideal, but somehow those sessions can turn out surprisingly well.

Yes, mood greatly affects the game. I often make this mistake, unfortunately.

No, playing without concentration is the same as playing without worrying about losing, and that makes me play dumber than usual.

It’s better to play without motivation than to play on tilt. When I’m not feeling it, I can still make the money sometimes—but when I’m tilted, I’m out of the tournament in two hands haha 😅

Unfortunately yes. And yesterday something curious happened to me. I started a tournament at 11:00 at night, already; I was sleepy and had taken my sleeping pill. However, I started the tournament very well, I became among the greatest in the tournament, but every minute that passed I was struggling with sleep. It turned out that I slept on the computer, when I woke up I had fallen on the final table and I still got a good prize hahah
