I usually play with both combinations, although I've won hands with both, and I've also checked out; it all depends on your position at the table and your chip stake.

It depends on the situation and the stage of the game, whether it's the final table or the beginning of the game. In my opinion, any hand can be weak; it depends on the player who has the cards.

Neither AA nor AK, If someone says you will get AA every hand for tournament...You will never win that MTT, AA will get busted some way or other.... I want mix of all cards , Speculative suited hands, AXs, small pocket pairs , Big Pocket pairs etc over complete tournament..

Haha, you guys are crazy! 6 pages of discussion about something seeming sooo obvious :D
And to my even bigger surprise there are answers prefering more possibilities :ROFLMAO:

I would reccomend everyone who prefers other 2 cards than AA checking their own statisics in any kind of HUD. There is no way that in any reasonable sample cards winning the most money for anyone could be anything else than AA.

AA and AK are both all in hands for me. Pretty much in every stage of game, excluding bubble. Sometimes I don't actually want to go all in, but it is my principle and I follow it. Other exception is that sometimes in head sup I may raise or even call with them if I need to get my opponent to play with me. I am not highly experienced poker player so don't take my advice on this one. :D

Of course, I prefer AA.
I don't think there are many who would prefer AK. You must be unique :)

Of course, I like AA more than AK. But, but! With AK, I personally feel much more confident postflop because we don't fall in love with our hand—if we hit an ace or king, we play; if not, it's an easy fold. But with AA, we have an overpair 99% of the time, and what to do with it in big pots, especially against the big blind, is a nightmare.

Even though I really like "AK" and rarely fold with this cards, "AA" is the strongest hand on pre-flop, so my answer is obvious. But if we were talking about poker with play money, I would choose "AKs", because there is a chance to get a royal flush with this hand. :)

Hard time is to fold AK when you feel that you gonna loose

AA crushes AK preflop, winning around 92% vs 8%.
With AA, you usually only lose hands that improve with the board (sets, straights, flushes).

AKs? Or AKo? But i would prefer AA, slightly higher percentage of winning the hand with heads-up.

That would depend on whos raising preflop for me in my opinion. And also depends on pairing on the flop. A tricky call that would be indeed.
