AK is more playable. It can improve more. Also, it is easier to let go on a worse flop or board in some stages.

Obviously Aces preflop. AK if the flop is good.

I prefer AK; it usually has more winning chances. AA is the highest pair, but it's still a pair. AK generally offers more options to play, but both hands are good; you just need to know how to play them.

I don't know why you prefer the weaker hand, but that's your problem. There is no better hand than AA.

Overall, I prefer to play AA but I feel like I'm losing with them more often than I should. If I raise too much, everyone just discards my cards and I win a small pot. If I raise less to get a move, I end up outnumbered. Sometimes it seems impossible to win anyway.

I clearly prefer AA, since it’s the best possible hand preflop. Even though AK suited can make more straights and flushes, AA is still much stronger overall.

AA every single day of the week. Look, I get the love for Big Slick. It looks pretty, and it's a powerhouse in tournament shove spots, but at the end of the day, AK is just a drawing hand

Good morning, everyone! There’s really no choice here. Nobody would prefer an Ace-King, right? Pocket Aces are always better.

Ace-King is a strong hand only pre-flop. After the flop, it loses a lot of strength if it doesn’t hit an Ace or a King. It loses to all pairs. Pocket Aces, on the other hand, beat all pairs.

The opponent needs to hit a set, otherwise they’ll lose. The difference is huge. For example, Pocket Aces against Ace-King suited have about a 77% chance to win. Against Ace-King offsuit, the chance goes up to around 93%.

It’s an enormous difference. That’s why, of course, I prefer Pocket Aces.

All jokes aside, I prefer a pair of Aces because it's the best hand to start with pre-flop
