Do you prefer to eat while playing poker, or not?

In a Casino I would normally wait for a break before eating, I do not like eating at the poker table. At home and on-line I can do as I please usually snacks and the odd sandwich I prepare before playing or at the hourly break times.

I prefer if I am hungry to eat first and then playing because my focus is ****ed up if either I am hungry or I am distracted by eating but if I am in a tournament I bring my phone to the kitchen with me and check what's going on while preparing food

This usually doesn't happen. But if I really want to eat, then during the break I make myself a sandwich. And I don't even drink water.

I prefer to play poker while there is some goodies, very helpful when the opponent thinks for a long time or he has a bad connection, where for a whole minute you can take a snack.

Yes, I like to eat near the computer, and even more so when playing online poker. This saves a lot of time and, most importantly, does not distract from the process, because I usually play at the only one table.

If you are any good at poker and you play tournaments then you are gonna get real hungry if you don’t eat
